Todabhim (Karauli) — Under the leadership of Executive Officer Hanuman Sharma, the Municipal Council launched a plastic-free market campaign in various parts of the town to raise awareness against the use of polythene.

During the drive, the public and shopkeepers were educated about the harmful effects of single-use plastic, and informative pamphlets were distributed. 35 shopkeepers were penalized, and a total of ₹3,500 in fines were collected. The polythene in their possession was also seized.

EO Sharma urged citizens to avoid plastic bags and instead use cloth or paper bags. He called for active public participation in making Todabhim a clean and plastic-free town.
