Akshay Godara, the newly appointed District Collector of Karauli, conducted a surprise inspection of various departments within the collectorate premises on Monday. During the visit, he reviewed the functioning of different sections, the status of pending files, and the overall quality of record management.
The Collector examined each department and emphasized the need for faster disposal of pending cases. He expressed dissatisfaction over unnecessary delays in the Relief Section, directing officials to establish a fixed timeline for resolving every case.
Godara also instructed the staff to work with sensitivity and responsibility, ensuring that public services and relief measures reach citizens in a timely manner. He reiterated that transparent and efficient governance remains a top priority.
During the inspection, the power supply in the collectorate unexpectedly went off, exposing the actual condition of the electrical system. The Collector immediately directed the concerned officials to take corrective action and strengthen the infrastructure.
