Karauli Police Nabs Fugitive Drug Peddler from Hyderabad under ‘Operation Smack Out’

In a significant breakthrough under the ongoing ‘Operation Smack Out’ against illegal narcotics in Rajasthan, Langra Police Station in Karauli district has arrested a 50-year-old drug peddler Narayan Singh, who was absconding and working as a laborer in Hyderabad.

Narayan Singh, a resident of Badapura, Masalpur (Karauli), used to purchase smack from the main supplier Pintu alias Satish Meena and sell it in small packets. To evade police arrest, he had fled to Hyderabad and was living in hiding while doing manual labor.

According to Langra SHO Basudev Baswal, the arrest was made under the directions of Superintendent of Police Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay. The police had already arrested seven other accused in this case earlier.

Narayan is currently being interrogated to uncover further details about the smack supply chain, other accomplices, and potential routes used for drug trafficking. Authorities believe this arrest will help dismantle a critical part of the local narcotics network.
