Gangster Anmol Bishnoi extradited from the US to India, sent to 11-day NIA custody

Gangster Anmol Bishnoi On Remand: Gangster Anmol Bishnoi was extradited from the country by US authorities on November 18, 2025, and brought to India and detained at Delhi Airport. Anmol, who was remanded to NIA (National Investigation Agency) custody for 11 days, was produced in Patiala House Court, where the agency sought 15 days of custody.

Involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala

Anmol Bishnoi’s name also surfaced in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. He is also wanted in the shooting case at actor Salman Khan’s house. After the shooting outside Salman’s house in April last year, Anmol claimed responsibility for the incident on social media.

NIA to obtain crucial information

NIA officials say that questioning Anmol may provide them with crucial information about the gangster syndicate’s operations, sources of funding, and his associates. The NIA has requested the court to grant Anmol 15 days of custody to interrogate him and obtain more information about the gangster network.

Main Leader of the Syndicate

Anmol Bishnoi was listed on the NIA’s ‘Most Wanted’ list, and a reward of ₹10 lakh was announced on his arrest. His arrest is expected to solve several other cases, as he is a notorious gangster and the mastermind of many criminal activities.*

Investigating agencies believe that Anmol Bishnoi is linked to Lawrence Bishnoi’s terrorist syndicate, which has been involved in murders, extortion, and other crimes. US Homeland Security carried out the extradition

The US Department of Homeland Security confirmed Anmol Bishnoi’s extradition on November 18th. Indian authorities subsequently brought him to India and arrested him. Anmol will be produced in court on November 29th, where further action will be decided.
