New Delhi :- The Delhi Police Counter-Intelligence team arrested two shooters involved in a Haryana triple murder case and planning to murder a social media influencer during an encounter on Pushta Road in Kalindi Kunj.
According to sources, the arrested criminals have been identified as Rahul (Panipat, Haryana) and Sahil (Bhiwani, Haryana). Both criminals were associated with the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar-Virendra Charan gang and were planning a murder in Delhi.
Police received information that these criminals, accused in the Haryana triple murder case, were hiding in the New Friends Colony area of Delhi. Based on this information, the police laid a trap on Pushta Road in Kalindi Kunj. At around 3 a.m., police signaled a motorcyclist to stop, but the criminals opened fire. In the ensuing exchange of fire, both criminals were shot in the legs and were apprehended and hospitalized.
According to Delhi Police, Rahul and Sahil were involved in a triple murder in Yamunanagar, Haryana, in December 2024 and had been absconding for a long time. Furthermore, the two criminals were planning to murder a social media influencer in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Police have also recovered the bike and weapons used by the criminals from the scene. Further legal action against the two is currently underway.
