Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati Arrested: Delhi Police arrested self-proclaimed Baba Chaitanyananda Swami alias Parth Sarathi, accused in the sexual harassment case related to Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management in South Delhi, from Agra. The accused was arrested hiding in a hotel in Agra at around 3:30 am on Sunday. 17 girl students of the institute had made serious allegations of sexual harassment against the Baba.
The girl students say that Chaitanyananda used to blackmail them by threatening to disconnect their numbers and would call them to his room late at night. A complaint was lodged in this matter at Vasant Kunj police station in Delhi on August 4. The police is now taking the accused to Vasant Kunj police station, where further investigation will take place.
