In an inspiring act of humanity and solidarity, 309 donors from Karauli district’s Karanpur town and nearby villages came together to support a widowed woman in distress. A total amount of ₹1,87,120 was raised and handed over to Manisha Meena, a widow and mother of three, on June 5, 2025, at her residence in the village of Caimokhri.
Husband Lost to Cancer, Mother Struggles Alone with Three Children
According to Ramprem Meena, President and Founder of the Agri Blood Foundation Team, Suresh Meena, a resident of Caimokhri, lost his life to a long battle with cancer on April 22, 2025. With only half a bigha (approx. 0.2 acres) of land and no stable income, the family had exhausted all their resources during Suresh’s treatment.
His wife Manisha Meena is now left alone to raise their three children:
- Komal (12 years)
- Aakash (10 years)
- Vikas (8 years)
Seeing their dire living conditions and future uncertainty, a group of local youth led by Ramprem Meena decided to initiate a “Support Mission” to help the grieving family.
Social Media Mobilized for a Noble Cause
Ramprem and his team effectively used social media and WhatsApp groups to spread the word. The initiative saw overwhelming support from local youth, government employees, public representatives, and generous donors (Bhamashahs).
Within just 15 days, 309 individuals came forward and collectively donated ₹1,87,120 for the family’s welfare and children’s education.
