England got off to a strong start, then lost wickets

After losing the toss and being put in to bat first, England Under-19 had a solid start. Opener Ben Dawkins scored 62 runs while Isaac Mohammad contributed 41. The pair added 78 runs for the first wicket, but England lost 4 wickets within the span of 35 runs in the middle order.However, Thomas Rew played a quickfire unbeaten knock of 76 runs off just 44 balls, which included 9 fours and 3 sixes. Alongside Ralphy Albert (21), he added 60 runs in the final overs, helping England reach a total of 268 for 6.

Kanishk shines in India’s bowling attack

For India, Kanishk Chauhan bowled brilliantly, taking 3 wickets for just 30 runs in his 8 overs. Naman Pushpak, Vihaan Malhotra, and Deepesh Devendran took one wicket each.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s explosive batting

Chasing a target of 269, Team India got off to an aggressive start. Opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi unleashed havoc on the English bowlers, reaching his half-century in just 20 balls. He smashed two consecutive sixes in a single over, taking India past 50 in just 4.4 overs.In total, Suryavanshi scored 86 runs off 31 balls, hitting 6 fours and 9 sixes. His explosive innings made the chase significantly easier. India won the match with 33 balls to spare.
