The meeting focused on the progress of various state government flagship schemes, ongoing development projects, and the status of basic amenities for the public.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Key Directives: Focus on Water and Power Infrastructure</strong></h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Deputy CM Dr. Bairwa emphasized that ensuring water and electricity supply during the summer season is the state government&#8217;s top priority. He issued strict instructions to officials:</p>

<li><strong>Prompt Resolution:</strong> There should be no leniency regarding electricity and water supply issues. Complaints must be resolved immediately.</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Describing &#8216;Vande Ganga&#8217; (a water conservation public campaign) as an ambitious project of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, Dr. Bairwa stressed the need to cultivate &#8216;water-consciousness&#8217; at every level. He reviewed the progress of several major initiatives, including:</p>

<li><strong>Agriculture &amp; Rural Development:</strong> Kusum Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, and Swamitva Yojana.</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Member of Parliament Mahima Kumari Mewar, Rajsamand MLA Deepti Maheshwari, and Nathdwara MLA Vishvaraj Singh Mewar raised critical regional issues, including water supply from the Bagheri project and power supply infrastructure (RDSS). Dr. Bairwa took serious note of these concerns and directed officials from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) and other relevant departments to ensure their immediate resolution.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Water Conservation as a &#8216;Jan Andolan&#8217;</strong></h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dr. Bairwa described water as a lifeline and urged that conservation should not remain just a government task but should transform into a &#8216;Jan Andolan&#8217; (people&#8217;s movement). <p class="wp-block-paragraph">The district-level phase of the <strong>&#8220;Vande Ganga Water Conservation Jan Abhiyan-2026&#8221;</strong> was inaugurated at the historic Triveni Sangam in Bhilwara. The event was held under the distinguished presence of Deputy Chief Minister and District In-charge Minister, Shri Premchand Bairwa. Acting on the call of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, this state-wide campaign is running from May 25 to June 5, 2026, with the primary goal of transforming water conservation and harvesting into a robust mass movement.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Traditional Inauguration and Environmental Focus</strong></h3>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The district-level program commenced with Vedic chanting, traditional water worship (<em>Jal Pujan</em>), a ceremonial <em>Kalash Yatra</em>, and a ritualistic <em>Jalabhishek</em>.
