Amid escalating hostilities, the U.S. State Department has advised American citizens in several Middle Eastern countries to depart immediately, citing serious security concerns.

State Department Issues Emergency Advisory

Mora Namdar, Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs, released a statement urging Americans in affected nations to use available commercial transportation to leave without delay. The advisory follows growing risks linked to missile strikes, drone activity, and the possibility of further military escalation.

Officials stressed that the guidance is precautionary but emphasized the unpredictable nature of the current security environment.

The advisory applies to 14 countries and territories across the Gulf and the broader Middle East. These include:

Israel (including the West Bank and Gaza), Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Bahrain, Oman, Syria

Authorities have warned that travel routes could face sudden disruptions if the conflict intensifies.

Fourth Day of Ongoing Conflict

The confrontation between the United States, Israel, and Iran has now entered its fourth day. President Donald Trump has stated that additional strikes against Iran remain possible and indicated that ground forces could be deployed if deemed necessary.

The current crisis escalated sharply after large-scale strikes on February 28 reportedly resulted in the deaths of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with members of his family and senior defense officials. Tehran has since responded with continued missile and drone attacks across parts of the Middle East.
