• ​Abolition of Death Feasts (Mrityu-Bhoj): To relieve families of financial debt during times of mourning, the practice of organizing large feasts (both cooked and uncooked meals) has been banned. Only tea and water will be served to guests.
• ​Ending Samdaura Traditions: The expensive Samdaura ritual following weddings has been stopped. The committee proposed that any exchange should be limited to voluntary contributions based on personal capacity.
• ​Strict Penalties: Committee spokesperson Rinku Kheri Haibat stated that any individual or village violating these mandates would face social and legal consequences.
