This seat is currently held by the JDU, but Samrat Chaudhary will contest on a BJP ticket. Samrat’s elder brother, Rohit Chaudhary, confirmed the decision, stating that Samrat will contest from Tarapur.

The Chaudhary family has a long-standing connection to Tarapur : The Chaudhary family has a deep connection with the Tarapur constituency. Samrat Chaudhary’s father, Shakuni Chaudhary, won this seat seven times. However, for the past 15 years, the family has been away from the Tarapur seat. Now, Samrat Chaudhary is entering the fray with a plan to bridge this gap.

Rohit Chaudhary’s Expectations : Rohit Chaudhary has claimed that Samrat Chaudhary can win this time by a record margin of around 25,000 votes. He appealed to party workers for support, saying that Samrat’s popularity and the BJP’s influence will lead to resounding success in this election.
