The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a crucial update regarding the Sub Inspector (Telecom) Competitive Examination 2024 for the Rajasthan Police Department. The commission has granted one last opportunity to 9 candidates, who were declared successful for the interview stage, but failed to submit their online Detailed Application Form (DAF) within the previously stipulated timeframe.

Securing a government job, especially as a Sub-Inspector in the police department, is a major career milestone. Missing the DAF submission after clearing the written stages is a significant setback. Recognizing this, the RPSC has offered relief to ensure that deserving candidates are not disqualified due to technical glitches or human errors.

Previous Deadline and Reason for the Extension

According to the official press note issued by the RPSC Secretary, candidates were initially given time from May 26 to June 1, 2026, to submit their online DAF. While the vast majority completed the process, 9 candidates failed to submit their forms during this window. Taking note of this, the commission released the list of these 9 candidates and provided them with a final lifeline to remain in the recruitment process.

New Deadline (Last Chance)

The commission has now given these 9 candidates a final chance to fill out their detailed application forms online starting from June 4, 2026, to June 9, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM). Candidates are strongly advised to complete the process as early as possible to avoid last-minute server issues or technical failures.

How to Fill the DAF via the SSO Portal?

For the convenience of the candidates, the step-by-step process to fill out the online form is provided below:

Visit the SSO Portal: First, go to the official Rajasthan Government SSO (Single Sign-On) portal.

Log In: Log in to the portal successfully using your valid SSO ID and password.

Recruitment Portal: Click on the ‘Recruitment Portal’ icon available on the dashboard.

My Recruitment Section: Navigate to the ‘My Recruitment’ section.

Detailed Form Link: Here, you will see a link for the ‘Detailed Form cum Scrutiny’. Click on it.

Enter Details: Carefully enter all your required educational, personal, and other necessary information in the form.

Submit: After cross-checking all documents and information, submit the final form and take a printout for future reference.

What to Do if You Are Not Interested? (Opt-out Process)

Sometimes, candidates may not wish to participate further in the selection process due to getting selected for other government services or for personal reasons. The RPSC has issued clear instructions for such scenarios as well. If any of these 9 candidates are not interested in the SI Telecom post and do not wish to fill out the detailed application, they must inform the commission in writing by emailing examb.rpsc@rajasthan.gov.in by June 9, 2026. This helps maintain transparency and speeds up the overall selection process.

Strict Warning from the Commission

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has stated in very strict terms that no further opportunities will be provided to submit the detailed application form after June 9, 2026.

If a candidate fails to submit their online form within this extended period despite being given sufficient chances, the commission will assume they are uninterested in the post. Consequently, the candidate will be permanently excluded from the eligibility check and final selection result consideration. The sole responsibility for this will lie with the candidate, and no legal or administrative appeals will be entertained regarding this matter.

Since this is an excellent technical post within the police department, interested candidates must ensure they fill out their forms without further delay.

Disclaimer:

Jaipur | Administrative Desk

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has taken a decisive and stringent step to ensure the integrity of the upcoming Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment Exam-2021 re-examination. The Commission has clearly stated that candidates involved in paper leaks, using dummy candidates, or employing unfair means during the 2021 session will not be granted any leniency this time.

Tainted Candidates Barred from Application Update Process

According to the Secretary of the Commission, the application update process for the re-examination—scheduled for September 20, 2026—is set to begin on May 16. However, candidates facing criminal charges related to the 2021 recruitment will be barred from this process.

Rigorous Scrutiny: The Commission is currently conducting a deep-dive study into the facts of all such criminal cases.

Legal Action: A lawful decision will be made on each individual case before any final action is taken.

Separate Notification: Candidates who are excluded from the update process will be notified individually well in advance of the exam date.

Commitment to Exam Sanctity

This move by RPSC is being viewed as a significant step toward making the upcoming examination transparent and cheat-proof. The Commission’s primary objective is to protect the interests of honest candidates who have been waiting for this recruitment for a long time.

Expert Analysis: Moving Toward Transparency

Legal experts believe that adopting a ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy in recruitment exams has become essential. Barring accused individuals right at the application stage acts as a strong deterrent, helping to curb incidents like paper leaks and ensuring a level playing field for all aspirants.
