According to information, the incident occurred at a well in Dikolya, located on the Amargarh-Moti road. The well is said to be quite old. At the time of the accident, the motor used to draw water from the well was being removed, when, without any warning, the topsoil of the well collapsed.

After approximately two and a half hours of hard work and considerable presence of mind, the villagers managed to pull the two youths out of the debris. However, by then, both were in critical condition.

Doctors declared them dead

Immediately after being safely pulled from the debris, both injured young men were rushed to the nearby Sapotra Hospital. A team of doctors immediately examined them, but unfortunately, both had already stopped breathing. Doctors declared them dead.
