Puja started her journey with just 20 independent women at her workshop and taught them how to make beautiful bouquets with their own hands. She did not just open a business. She opened a door of opportunity for women who wanted to learn something new and stand on their own feet. Women from all across Assam showed interest in her workshop and started joining to learn the art of bouquet making. Since the demand grew so much anyone who wants to join her workshop now has to book their seat in advance.

Her business Handicrafft Spot is no longer just a small workshop. Today Handicrafft Spot is a well known name where you can buy bouquets and all types of handmade girls accessories as well. Everything sold here is made by hand with full love and creativity.

Puja has bigger dreams ahead. She is planning to expand her workshop and welcome a much larger number of women in the coming days so that more and more women can learn and earn with dignity.

Her story from Laokhowa Road in Nagaon is a true example that a woman with a strong will can build something beautiful from nothing and inspire an entire community around her.
