On April 28, 2026, a special camp was organized in the Patonda Gram Panchayat of the Shri Mahaveer Ji Panchayat Samiti. During the event, officials from various departments provided detailed information and facilitated on-the-spot benefits for eligible villagers. Additionally, the Sub-Divisional Officer addressed local grievances, and Soil Health Cards were distributed to farmers to promote scientific farming practices.

The integration of modern technology and agriculture department subsidies has significantly altered the farming landscape in Patonda Gram Panchayat. Here are three stories of empowerment:

1. Modern Machinery Enhancing Productivity

Kallan Jat, a resident of Kajanipur, applied for a subsidy under the ‘Sub-Mission on Agriculture Mechanization’. He received a grant of ₹1,25,000 from the department.

• The Impact: With the help of modern machinery, Kallan now prepares high-quality fodder from crop residue. This has not only increased the availability of fodder for his cattle but has also created a new stream of income by selling the surplus production.

2. Boosting Soil Health through Organic Farming

In the same village, Siya Devi and Seema Devi were provided a subsidy of ₹10,000 each for the establishment of vermi-beds under the GJUY scheme.

• The Impact: This assistance enabled them to start producing organic fertilizer. Consequently, their farming costs have decreased while the fertility of the soil has significantly improved. Both farmers expressed their gratitude to the state government for this vital support.

3. Saving Time and Labor with Technology

Farmer Leeladhar also benefited from the ‘Sub-Mission on Agriculture Mechanization’ scheme, receiving a subsidy of ₹1,25,000 to purchase advanced agricultural equipment.

• The Impact: The use of modern tools has accelerated his agricultural tasks, leading to substantial savings in both time and labor. Leeladhar expressed his heartfelt thanks to the administration for providing financial stability through these tools.

A Bridge Between Government and Citizens

Villagers noted that they previously struggled to access information about welfare schemes in a timely manner. However, the Gram Rath Campaign has bridged this gap by providing information and benefits directly at the village level. This initiative has not only increased awareness about modern agriculture but is also making farming a more profitable venture.
