On Sunday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma convened a high-level review meeting at his residence to assess the preparations for the upcoming NEET Re-Exam scheduled for June 21, 2026. Emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy against malpractices, the CM directed police and administrative officials to ensure foolproof security, flawless coordination with the National Testing Agency (NTA), and strict compliance with the guidelines set by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

Strict Security and ‘Zero Tolerance’ for Malpractice

To ensure a completely transparent and peaceful examination process, the Chief Minister instructed the administration to remain on high alert. He directed all District Collectors and SPs to personally visit and inspect the examination venues to plug any security loopholes. CM Sharma made it absolutely clear that swift and strict action must be taken against anyone attempting to compromise the integrity of the exam or found spreading misleading rumors on social media.

Focus on Candidate Convenience Amidst Heat

Keeping the prevailing severe weather conditions in mind, CM Sharma also prioritized the well-being of the aspiring doctors. He issued strict instructions to the local administration to ensure that essential facilities—particularly clean drinking water, adequate shaded waiting areas, and proper ventilation—are guaranteed at every examination center so that students do not face any hardships during the test.

During the briefing, senior officials informed the Chief Minister that approximately 2.09 lakh candidates will take the re-exam at 611 centers spread across 27 districts in the state. The capital city, Jaipur, will host the highest number of examination centers (106), followed closely by the state’s major educational coaching hubs: Sikar (102 centers) and Kota (92 centers).

Top Brass Attends the High-Level Meet
