Delivering a two-part ultimatum to the authorities, the women stated that the administration must respect public sentiment and prioritize citizen safety over commercial revenue. They have demanded that the excise department either cancel the shop’s current license or immediately shift the establishment to a designated non-residential zone on the outskirts of the city.

The delegation made it crystal clear that if the administration fails to initiate prompt and positive action, the women of the region will be forced to launch a large-scale, democratic, and peaceful protest (Chakka Jam). They warned that the local administration and the excise department would be held entirely responsible for any resulting disruption to law and order.
