According to eyewitnesses, on January 27, 2026, three people—1. Mohd. Akram, son of Mohd. Mustaq, 2. Mohd. Fayyaz, son of Mohd. Siraj, and 3. Mohd. Musarraf, son of Mohd. Akbar—suddenly attacked him, causing panic in the area. Srivastava sustained serious injuries in the attack. He was taken for treatment with the help of local residents.
