In a major breakthrough, Jaipur Police has arrested Mujjamil (30), the mastermind behind the notorious ‘Killer Gang’ involved in multiple criminal activities including extortion, assault, and arson. The arrest was made by Vidhayakpuri Police Station on Sunday night after sustained surveillance and search operations.

Accused Wanted in Multiple Cases Since 2024:
According to DCP (South) Digant Anand, Mujjamil, a resident of Yadav Chowk, Hasanpura Sadar, had formed the “Killer Gang” with over a dozen associates. In July 2024, the gang attacked a hotel in the Vidhayakpuri area, and in September 2024, they were involved in a gang clash on MI Road where a car was set on fire. He had been absconding for nearly nine months.

Terror and Extortion were the Gang’s Modus Operandi:
The gang’s core purpose was to create fear and collect illegal money from hotels and local businesses under threat. The gang operated openly in parts of Jaipur, leveraging intimidation as their primary tactic.

Mujjamil is a History-Sheeter:
Police records reveal that Mujjamil has more than a dozen criminal cases registered in various police stations across Jaipur city. He is listed as a history-sheeter and is now being interrogated to trace other gang members.
