The fourth day of the second Test between India and England is underway. The Indian team posted a massive total of 608 runs in their first innings, setting a daunting target for England. Now, England has come out to chase this target, but Indian bowlers have put them in a difficult position.

India Puts England in a Tough Spot

India scored a huge total of 608 runs in their first innings, with captain Shubman Gill scoring a brilliant century. England is finding it difficult to chase this target, and their second innings has now begun.

While chasing the target, England lost two early wickets. Mohammad Siraj gave India the first breakthrough by dismissing Jack Crawley, who returned to the pavilion without scoring. Following that, Aakash Deep bowled brilliantly and took the wicket of Ben Duckett, who was bowled out for 25 runs off 15 balls.

Joe Root Also Falls, India Takes Third Wicket

Aakash Deep continued his fine bowling and dismissed Joe Root, giving India their third breakthrough. Root managed only 6 runs off 16 balls and failed to avoid an LBW decision. Earlier, Root had narrowly escaped being out LBW twice, but this time he couldn’t avoid Aakash Deep’s brilliant delivery.
