Key Achievements of the Campaign (May 1 to May 25, 2026)

According to departmental data, decisive action has been taken against illegal liquor syndicates during this period:

• Cases Registered: 1,923 cases have been filed.
• Arrests: A total of 843 individuals have been arrested.
• Destruction of ‘Wash’: 5,13,584 liters of ‘wash’ (the raw material used for brewing illegal liquor) were destroyed on the spot.
• Seizure of Vehicles: 84 vehicles involved in the illegal transportation of liquor—including 7 heavy vehicles, 12 light four-wheelers, 1 three-wheeler, and 64 two-wheelers—have been impounded.

Seizure Details

The department has confiscated a large quantity of illicit liquor and spirits:

• Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL): 38,875 liters (Estimated value: ~₹3.89 crore).
• Beer: 19,618 liters (Estimated value: ~₹44.11 lakh).
• Country Liquor: 6,810 liters (Estimated value: ~₹18.36 lakh).
• Illicit Hand-made Liquor: 12,729 liters.

Regional Enforcement and Continuous Patrolling

Excise Preventive Force (EPF) teams are conducting intensive blockades and raids across the state:

• Hanumangarh: 2,000 liters of wash were destroyed in the Nuwa Makkasar canal, Surewal, and Panniwali regions.
• Jaipur Rural: In areas such as Bassi, Akhepura, Trilokpura, and Sakh Ka Gudha, 1,500 liters of wash were destroyed alongside two illegal brewing furnaces. Additionally, 70 liters of illicit hand-made liquor were confiscated.

Departmental Strategy

Excise Commissioner Namit Mehta has mandated that all Zonal Additional Excise Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, and District Excise Officers ensure strict enforcement. The department has reiterated that this campaign will continue unabated until the network of illegal liquor trade is completely dismantled.
