Kishangarh-Renwal (Jaipur) | May 12, 2026

The ‘Gram Rath Campaign’, launched by the state government to promote the ‘Rajasthan Global Agri-Tech Meet-2026’ and raise awareness about public welfare schemes, is effectively reaching the heart of rural Rajasthan. During a ‘Sandhya Chaupal’ (evening community meeting) held on Monday in Harsoli Gram Panchayat, the success story of a local farmer, Mr. Sohanlal, came to the forefront.

The Challenge: Dependency and Crop Loss

Sohanlal, a resident of Kishanpura village, shared that his family has been engaged in farming for generations. However, they consistently faced a major hurdle:

Delayed Operations: Due to the unavailability of rented farm machinery during peak seasons, sowing and harvesting were often delayed.

Economic Impact: These delays led to significant damage to fodder and crop quality, reducing the family’s total income.

The Turning Point: Agricultural Machinery Subsidy Scheme

During a training program organized by the Agriculture Department, Sohanlal learned about the Agricultural Machinery Subsidy Scheme.

Application: He applied through the department.

Financial Support: Upon purchasing the necessary equipment, the department credited the approved subsidy amount directly to him.

Self-Reliance: With his own advanced machinery, he moved away from his dependency on rentals.

The Result: Increased Production and Income

Sohanlal reported that having his own equipment has allowed him to complete farming tasks with precision and perfect timing. This has resulted in higher yields and a notable increase in his annual income. He expressed his deep gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and the Agriculture Department for this transformative support.

Conclusion: Spreading Awareness through ‘Gram Rath’

In the presence of Tehsildar Komal Yadav and Block Development Officer Chhoturam Meena, Sohanlal encouraged other farmers in the district to step forward and benefit from these government initiatives. The Gram Rath campaign continues to serve as a bridge between the administration and the rural population, ensuring that the fruits of governance reach the last mile.

Direct Interaction with Villagers; Instructions Issued for Swift Resolution of Grievances

Jodhpur/Jaipur | May 12, 2026

As part of the state government’s Gram Rath Campaign—designed to bring information about public welfare schemes directly to rural areas—the Minister for Education (School/Sanskrit) and Panchayati Raj, Mr. Madan Dilawar, visited Khedapa in the Bawari Panchayat Samiti on Tuesday. During the visit, the Minister, who also serves as the Jodhpur District-in-Charge, engaged in heartfelt dialogues with local residents to address their concerns.

On-the-Spot Grievance Redressal

Minister Dilawar listened intently to the problems raised by the villagers and coordinated with departmental officers to resolve several issues on the spot. He reaffirmed that the state government is fully committed to the effective implementation of welfare schemes and that the Gram Rath Campaign is a vital step toward ensuring transparent governance.

Focus on Drinking Water Solutions

Responding to concerns regarding water scarcity, the Minister-in-Charge immediately consulted with officials from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED):

Immediate Action: He directed officials to resolve current water issues without delay.

A Fundamental Right: The Minister stated that providing clean tap water to every household is a priority and a right of every citizen.

Summer Monitoring: In view of the rising temperatures, he ordered regular monitoring of the water supply system to prevent any disruptions.

Public Participation in Policy Making

A unique highlight of the event was the Minister’s encouragement for villagers to use the “Suggestion Box.” He emphasized that public participation is essential for effective policy-making. “Suggestions received from the common man are invaluable to the government; they help us refine our schemes and make them more impactful,” Mr. Dilawar remarked.

Awareness Drive for 13 Departments

The Gram Rath Campaign acts as a mobile information hub for 13 key departments, including:

Agriculture, Horticulture, and Animal Husbandry.

Cooperative, Irrigation, and Industry.

Energy, Revenue, Panchayati Raj, and Rural Development.

Through audio-video messages and interactive materials available on the “Raths” (chariots), villagers are being educated on how to access the benefits of various government initiatives.

Directives for Regular Public Hearings

To ensure continued accountability, the Minister instructed officials to organize regular Night Chaupals and public hearings in rural blocks. He noted that transparency is only achieved when representatives and officials go directly to the villages to understand the ground reality.

Conclusion

The public hearing in Khedapa underscores the government’s “doorstep delivery” approach to governance. By combining immediate problem-solving with a platform for long-term policy suggestions, Minister Madan Dilawar’s visit has set a proactive tone for the Gram Rath Campaign in the Jodhpur region.

Jaisalmer/Jaipur | May 12, 2026

The “Night Chaupal” (Village Gathering) and Public Hearing held late Monday night in Ramdevra, Jaisalmer—a land of profound spiritual significance—served as a powerful example of responsive administration and direct public service. Minister for Medical and Health, Mr. Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, and Chairman of the State Finance Commission, Dr. Arun Chaturvedi, sat among the villagers to listen to their concerns with empathy, issuing immediate instructions for time-bound resolutions.

Water and Electricity: Top Priorities Amid Scorching Heat

In light of the intense summer heat in the desert region, the Minister-in-charge prioritized basic utility services:

Regular Supply: Instructions were given to ensure that regular drinking water and electricity reach even the remotest dhanis (hamlets).

Action Against Illegal Connections: Strict action was ordered against unauthorized water connections to maintain a smooth supply for all.

Zero Negligence: The Minister emphasized that any negligence in the distribution of essential services would not be tolerated.

Strengthening Healthcare Infrastructure

Health Minister Mr. Khinvsar announced several key initiatives aimed at bolstering medical services in Western Rajasthan, particularly Jaisalmer:

100 New Sub-Centers: To bring healthcare closer to rural and remote populations, 100 new health sub-centers are being established.

Filling Vacancies: The recruitment of doctors, nursing staff, and pharmacists is being fast-tracked to ensure hospitals are fully staffed.

HPV Vaccination Campaign: A free vaccination drive is underway for girls aged 14 to 15 to prevent cervical cancer, with the government covering all costs.

Antyodaya and the Gram Rath Campaign

Dr. Arun Chaturvedi, Chairman of the State Finance Commission, stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Bhajanlal Sharma, the government is committed to reaching the “last person in the queue.”

Gram Rath Campaign: This initiative aims to take information about government schemes directly to the villages so that no eligible person is left behind.

Farmer Support: Efforts like the Kisan Samman Nidhi were highlighted as historic steps toward making farmers self-reliant through direct financial assistance.

Administrative Commitment

District Collector Anupama Jorwal assured the gathering that all complaints related to water, electricity, roads, and education received during the hearing would be resolved on priority. She also urged the public to ensure their daughters receive the free HPV vaccine and encouraged them to maximize the benefits of the ongoing Gram Rath Campaign.

Conclusion

The Night Chaupal in Ramdevra demonstrates a proactive governance model where leaders engage directly with the grassroots. By focusing on health, infrastructure, and the direct delivery of welfare schemes, the state government aims to drive a wave of positive change in the Jaisalmer region.

Karauli: In a major push to ensure that government welfare schemes and development milestones reach the last mile, the ‘Gram Rath Abhiyan’ is currently sweeping through the rural landscapes of Karauli. On Monday, specialized mobile promotion vans (Raths) traversed several Gram Panchayats across the district, utilizing traditional folk performances to educate citizens about state initiatives and the upcoming Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet 2026 (GRAM-2026).

Strengthening Public Trust through Outreach

Lakhan Singh, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Zila Parishad, highlighted the campaign’s success in bridging the gap between the government and the public. He stated that the Assembly-wise Gram Rath Abhiyan was launched with the primary objective of disseminating information about public welfare schemes and ensuring that the maximum number of beneficiaries are connected to state resources.

“The goal is not just to inform but to build trust and ensure that the benefits of the state’s progress reach every household,” Singh added.

The Power of Folk Media in Awareness

One of the highlights of the campaign has been the involvement of local folk artists. By moving away from dry administrative jargon, these artists used captivating musical performances and storytelling to simplify complex government schemes. Their colorful presentations turned awareness sessions into community events, effectively motivating villagers to register for various welfare programs.

Panchayats Covered: A Detailed Look

On Wednesday, the campaign covered a wide geographical area across several constituencies in Karauli:

Sapotra Constituency: Awareness activities were held in Nimoda, Jeerota, Raneta, Baroda, Ekat, and Hadoti.

Hindaun Constituency: The Raths reached Pattinarayanpur, Tighariya, Mahu Ibrahimpur, and Mahu Khas.

Karauli Constituency: Extensive outreach was conducted in Gubreda, Bhabli, Rudhpura, Khunda, and Piprani.

Todabhim Constituency: Teams visited Sankarwara, Manchari, Azizpur, Mannoj, and Kheri to inspire locals to avail themselves of government benefits.

Spotlight on GRAM-2026

A major component of the campaign is educating the farming community about the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM-2026). Farmers are being encouraged to participate in this mega-event to learn about modern agricultural technologies, sustainable practices, and ways to enhance their crop yields.

Conclusion

The Gram Rath Abhiyan serves as a vital tool for rural empowerment in Rajasthan. By blending administrative outreach with local culture, the Karauli district administration is ensuring that information remains accessible, transparent, and actionable for all rural residents.

Karauli: The true success of governance lies in its ability to reach the last mile. In a significant move to bridge the gap between policy and people, the Rajasthan Government has intensified its ‘Gram Rath Abhiyan’ across the Karauli district. This mobile outreach initiative is designed to educate citizens about the upcoming Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet-2026 (GRAM-2026) and a myriad of public welfare schemes.

A Mission of Awareness and Empowerment

The primary objective of the Gram Rath Abhiyan is to foster trust between the state and its citizens while ensuring that information regarding development works and achievements reaches every household. By utilizing specially equipped “chariots” (Raths), the government is transforming information dissemination into a grassroots movement.

Regional Highlights: From Sapotra to Todabhim

On Wednesday, the campaign saw high engagement across multiple assembly constituencies, where local residents were encouraged to avail themselves of state benefits.

Sapotra Constituency: The campaign successfully covered the Gram Panchayats of Kashipura, Kota, Mahouli, Mamchari, Maanch, and Karsai.

Hindaun Constituency: Significant outreach was conducted in Sanet, Shri Mahaveerji, Akbarpur, and Chandangaon.

Focus on GRAM-2026: The Future of Farming

A central pillar of this campaign is the promotion of GRAM-2026. As agriculture remains the backbone of the rural economy, the Rajasthan Government is committed to modernizing the sector. The campaign focuses on:

Introducing farmers to advanced agritech and global best practices.

Encouraging diversification in crops and organic farming.

Strengthening the market-linkage for local produce to ensure better returns for farmers.
