The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a crucial update regarding the Sub Inspector (Telecom) Competitive Examination 2024 for the Rajasthan Police Department. The commission has granted one last opportunity to 9 candidates, who were declared successful for the interview stage, but failed to submit their online Detailed Application Form (DAF) within the previously stipulated timeframe.

Securing a government job, especially as a Sub-Inspector in the police department, is a major career milestone. Missing the DAF submission after clearing the written stages is a significant setback. Recognizing this, the RPSC has offered relief to ensure that deserving candidates are not disqualified due to technical glitches or human errors.

Previous Deadline and Reason for the Extension

According to the official press note issued by the RPSC Secretary, candidates were initially given time from May 26 to June 1, 2026, to submit their online DAF. While the vast majority completed the process, 9 candidates failed to submit their forms during this window. Taking note of this, the commission released the list of these 9 candidates and provided them with a final lifeline to remain in the recruitment process.

New Deadline (Last Chance)

The commission has now given these 9 candidates a final chance to fill out their detailed application forms online starting from June 4, 2026, to June 9, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM). Candidates are strongly advised to complete the process as early as possible to avoid last-minute server issues or technical failures.

How to Fill the DAF via the SSO Portal?

For the convenience of the candidates, the step-by-step process to fill out the online form is provided below:

Visit the SSO Portal: First, go to the official Rajasthan Government SSO (Single Sign-On) portal.

Log In: Log in to the portal successfully using your valid SSO ID and password.

Recruitment Portal: Click on the ‘Recruitment Portal’ icon available on the dashboard.

My Recruitment Section: Navigate to the ‘My Recruitment’ section.

Detailed Form Link: Here, you will see a link for the ‘Detailed Form cum Scrutiny’. Click on it.

Enter Details: Carefully enter all your required educational, personal, and other necessary information in the form.

Submit: After cross-checking all documents and information, submit the final form and take a printout for future reference.

What to Do if You Are Not Interested? (Opt-out Process)

Sometimes, candidates may not wish to participate further in the selection process due to getting selected for other government services or for personal reasons. The RPSC has issued clear instructions for such scenarios as well. If any of these 9 candidates are not interested in the SI Telecom post and do not wish to fill out the detailed application, they must inform the commission in writing by emailing examb.rpsc@rajasthan.gov.in by June 9, 2026. This helps maintain transparency and speeds up the overall selection process.

Strict Warning from the Commission

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has stated in very strict terms that no further opportunities will be provided to submit the detailed application form after June 9, 2026.

If a candidate fails to submit their online form within this extended period despite being given sufficient chances, the commission will assume they are uninterested in the post. Consequently, the candidate will be permanently excluded from the eligibility check and final selection result consideration. The sole responsibility for this will lie with the candidate, and no legal or administrative appeals will be entertained regarding this matter.

Since this is an excellent technical post within the police department, interested candidates must ensure they fill out their forms without further delay.

Disclaimer:

This news article is written solely for informational and educational purposes. Candidates are strongly requested to visit the official website of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) to verify the dates, check the candidate list, and confirm the authentic application process.

In a stringent move to maintain the integrity and transparency of recruitment examinations, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has taken historic disciplinary action. The commission has dismissed Smt. Saroj Bishnoi, a Clerk Grade-I (currently suspended), from government service with immediate effect for using unfair means—specifically a Bluetooth device—to secure her job in the Junior Assistant/Clerk Grade-II Joint Direct Recruitment Exam 2018.

This severe action against the employee, who had completed approximately six years in government service, was taken due to a gross violation of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Conduct) Rules.

How the Cheating Scam Unfolded

Saroj Bishnoi was selected for the Clerk Grade-II post conducted by the Staff Selection Board in 2018, securing the 17th position in the OBC category merit list. Following her selection, she officially joined the commission in March 2020.

However, based on authentic information from confidential sources, the RPSC discovered that she had obtained the question paper prior to the examination through a paper leak syndicate.

SOG Investigation Revelations: Acting on the commission’s complaint, the Special Operations Group (SOG) launched an intensive investigation. The probe revealed that the main accused, Pourav Kaler, along with his associates, solved the leaked paper and transmitted the answers to Saroj Bishnoi via a Bluetooth device during the exam.

Evidence of Corruption: The investigation further proved that in exchange for this illicit assistance, Bishnoi handed over signed blank cheques to the main accused, which falls squarely under the category of severe misconduct and corruption.

Gross Violation of Civil Services Conduct Rules

The RPSC based this extreme disciplinary action on the Rajasthan Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1971.

Violation of Rule 3: Under this rule, every government servant is expected to maintain absolute integrity and devotion to duty at all times. The commission found that Saroj Bishnoi’s actions demonstrated a complete lack of integrity and an unethical approach to life, rendering her unfit for public service.

During the departmental inquiry (initiated under Rule 16 of the CCA Rules, 1958), the accused employee repeatedly attempted to delay the proceedings and avoid personal hearings by citing various excuses, including illness and hospitalization.

High Court Rejects Plea to Halt Inquiry

In a bid to stop the departmental inquiry, the accused clerk argued that as long as the criminal case linked to the SOG FIR (No. 35/2025) was pending in court, the departmental proceedings should be stayed.

She even filed a writ petition in the Rajasthan High Court (Jaipur Bench) seeking a stay order. However, considering the gravity of the matter, the court completely rejected her arguments.

Court’s Clear Observation: The High Court clarified that a criminal trial (dealing with cheating and criminal conspiracy) and a departmental charge sheet (dealing with a lack of integrity and unbecoming conduct under Rules 3 and 4) operate in two different domains.

Citing established legal precedents from the Supreme Court, the High Court ruled that both proceedings can run concurrently to maintain administrative purity, and there is no justification for staying disciplinary action in such serious matters.

Finally, after completing all legal and departmental procedures, the RPSC issued the official dismissal order for Saroj Bishnoi on June 1, 2026.

Disclaimer:

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), on behalf of the Telangana Council for Higher Education (TGCHE), has officially declared the results for the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TS EAPCET 2026) today, May 17, 2026. Hundreds of thousands of candidates who appeared for the state-level entrance examination can now access their normalized scorecards, ranks, and the final answer keys via the official online portal.

The results were formalized during an official press brief held at the Golden Jubilee Hall, JNTU Hyderabad campus, by senior administrative dignitaries including Yogita Rana, Secretary (Education), and Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman of TGCHE. Officials confirmed that this year’s examination registered a notable overall student attendance rate of over 93%.

Step-by-Step Guide to Download TS EAPCET 2026 Rank Card Online

Due to heavy digital traffic, the primary server may face transient slowdowns. Candidates are advised to maintain patience and follow these verified operational steps to access their scorecards:

Visit the Authorized Portal: Navigate to the official state council website: eapcet.tgche.ac.in.

Locate the Link: Click on the prominently displayed homepage notification labeled “TG EAPCET 2026 Rank Card”.

Input Identity Credentials: On the secure login page, accurately input your Registration Number, Entrance Exam Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth.

Execute Verification: Click on the ‘Submit’ button to process your request.

Print and Secure: Your detailed scorecard will be rendered on the screen. Verify the details, download the PDF, and secure multiple physical printouts for the upcoming counseling and institutional certificate verification phases.

In the event of extended downtime on the official website, candidates can alternatively verify their marks status through the accredited education portal manabadi.co.in using the identical login credentials.

Qualifying Criteria and Score Normalization Standards

General, BC, and OBC Categories: To successfully qualify the entrance examination, candidates belonging to Open and Other Backward Classes must secure a mandatory minimum threshold of 25% of the total marks (translating to a minimum of 40 marks out of the maximum 160).

SC and ST Categories: In compliance with state reservation mandates, no minimum qualifying cut-off score is prescribed for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. Admissions for these categories remain governed purely by seat availability matrices and respective relative merit.

The Normalization Metric: Since the engineering examinations were administered from May 9 to 11 and the agriculture/pharmacy sessions were conducted from May 4 to 5 across multiple independent shifts, JNTUH incorporated a specialized statistical normalization process. This algorithm balances potential variations in question paper difficulty across different sessions to ensure equitable ranking. No negative markings were applied to the raw score computations.

The Post-Result Phase: Web Counselling and Document Readiness

Qualified candidates are now eligible to participate in the centralized TG EAPCET 2026 web counseling process, tentatively scheduled to commence in June 2026. The admissions allocation will stretch across three primary rounds, followed by an institutional spot round subject to seat vacancy metrics. Candidates must compile the following documentation ahead of the verification schedule:

TS EAPCET 2026 Exam Hall Ticket and Normalized Rank Card

Valid Government Issued Identification (e.g., Passport, PAN Card, or Ration Card, etc.)

Class 10 (SSC) Marksheet or equivalent foundational certificate (for official age and birth date verification)

Cast and Community Certificate (if claiming reservation quotas)

Local Residence Certificate covering the preceding 12 consecutive years

Income Certificate issued by an authorized state revenue official (if applicable for fee waivers)

Disclaimer: This educational news dispatch is compiled based on official press releases, event announcements, and data published by JNTU Hyderabad and the Telangana Council for Higher Education (TGCHE) on May 17, 2026. Final structural cut-offs, individual seat matrices, and definitive counseling schedules are subject to regional variations and administrative choices. Candidates are strictly urged to check the official state portal (eapcet.tgche.ac.in) for updated, real-time institutional instructions.
