How to Download the Answer Key and Response Sheet

Candidates can verify their performance by following these steps:

1. Visit the official website: cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/EAPCET.
2. Click on the link labeled ‘AP EAPCET 2026 Preliminary Answer Key’ on the homepage.
3. Log in using your registration number, hall ticket number, and other required credentials.
4. Download the answer key PDF and the master question paper for your respective stream.
5. Compare your recorded responses with the official key to estimate your probable score.

Objection Filing Process

The council has opened a window for candidates to raise objections against the preliminary answer key.

• Deadline: Objections can be submitted online until May 25, 2026.
• Fees: A fee of Rs 300 per question is applicable for challenging an answer. If the expert committee finds a candidate’s objection to be valid, the fee will be refunded.
• Final Results: An expert committee will review all challenges submitted by the deadline. The final answer key will be published based on these reviews, and the AP EAPCET 2026 results are tentatively expected on June 1, 2026.

Examination Pattern and Marking Scheme

Conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, on behalf of APSCHE, the examination followed a standard objective format:

• Total Marks: 160 marks.
• Structure: 80 questions from Mathematics, 40 from Physics, and 40 from Chemistry.
• Marking: Each correct answer earns 1 mark.
• Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for incorrect or unanswered questions.
• Qualifying Criteria: The qualifying percentage is 25% of the maximum marks. Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories are exempt from this minimum qualifying requirement (subject to seat reservation limits).

Important Note: Candidates who have qualified in their intermediate or equivalent examination are reminded to fill and submit the declaration form for 10+2 marks via the official council portal, as this is mandatory for admission processing.
