Political activity has intensified regarding the Bihar Assembly elections. The NDA alliance is expected to announce seat-sharing today. According to sources, a consensus has been reached between the parties. The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Election Committee and Parliamentary Board are also scheduled to meet today to discuss candidate names. It is expected that the BJP will release its first list of candidates after this meeting.

On the other hand, the picture regarding seat-sharing within the Grand Alliance remains unclear. Rahul Gandhi will meet with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav at his Delhi residence, 10 Rajaji Marg, at 10 a.m. today. The two leaders will discuss seat-sharing. Insiders say that consensus on some seats remains elusive, and efforts will be made to resolve them.

Meanwhile, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has announced his intention to field candidates in 32 seats across 16 districts in Bihar. This move has further exacerbated the Grand Alliance’s difficulties, as there is a possibility of a dent in the Muslim vote bank.

While the electoral picture in Bihar is gradually becoming clearer, many complications remain within the opposition camp. The political equations could take an interesting turn in the coming days.
