New Delhi – The Delhi hostel run by the All India Tribal Development Association (Regd.) has received another significant financial contribution. Hansraj Meena, the popular MLA from Sapotra Assembly constituency in Rajasthan, donated ₹2,51,000 (two lakh fifty-one thousand rupees) for the construction of the hostel through an online transfer to the association’s account.The association expresses its heartfelt thanks and gratitude to MLA Hansraj Meena for this support. It is noteworthy that Mr. Meena attended the association’s annual event held at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, on July 7, 2024, as a special guest and announced a contribution of ₹1,00,000 (one lakh rupees) annually. This year’s contribution is part of that commitment.
Collective support gathered at the inauguration ceremony
On July 20, 2025, several dignitaries from the Sapotra area attended the inauguration of the A Block of the Delhi hostel and collectively announced a contribution of ₹11,00,000 (eleven lakh rupees). To date, ₹10,11,000 (ten lakh eleven thousand rupees) of that contribution has been received.
Prominent contributors present on the occasion included: Kuldeep Pakad, Prem Singh Meena, Prakash Chand Meena, Hemraj Meena (Contractor, Jaipur), Roop Singh Meena (Sarpanch Representative), Harkesh Meena (Former Sarpanch Khedla), Ramdhan Dabir, Fateh Ram Meena (Advocate, Rajasthan High Court), Girija Meena (District Council Member), Alka Meena, Bhanwarlal Meena, Dharamraj Meena, Yogesh Meena, Chaturbhuj Pakad, Mukesh Meena (Tree Man), Ram Prakash Contractor, and Rajkumar Meena (Pahadpura).

Dr. Kirodi Lal presided over the hostel inauguration ceremony, while Bhupendra Yadav was the chief guest. Dr. Kirodi Lal has consistently supported the construction of hostels in Delhi and has now assured support for Phase 2 as well. Special thanks were extended to Dr. Saheb on behalf of the Delhi Meena community.
Hostel opens for Super 50, request for support for Phase 2 construction
According to the All India Tribal Development Association (Regd.), with the support of all your philanthropists, the Delhi hostel has opened on October 2, 2025. This time, 50 meritorious tribal students (Super 50) from Rajasthan have been admitted to this hostel, who will receive specialized training to prepare for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2026.Students pursuing research on tribal subjects are also eligible for admission to the hostel.
Currently, 27 rooms have been constructed under Phase 1, accommodating 54 students. In the upcoming Phase 2, construction of 33 more rooms is planned, increasing the hostel’s capacity to approximately 120 students.The Sangh has humbly requested those community members who have not yet contributed, to provide financial support as per their willingness and capacity, so that the construction work of Phase-2 can be completed by next year.
