bihar, india : Bihar Minister Ashok Choudhary has sent a legal notice to Jan Suraj Party chief Prashant Kishore, threatening him with a defamation suit of ₹100 crore. This action comes after Kishore accused Choudhary of involvement in alleged irregularities in the purchase and sale of land worth ₹200 crore during a press conference in Patna last week.

Minister Ashok Choudhary, who is in charge of the Rural Works Department, sent this notice to Prashant Kishore through his lawyer, Kumar Anjanay Shanu. The notice states that if Kishore fails to provide any concrete evidence to substantiate his allegations, he must publicly apologize unconditionally, and this apology will be delivered through a press conference.
The notice also states that Prashant Kishore’s statements have severely damaged Choudhary’s reputation and negatively impacted his social image. If a proper response is not received within a week, the minister has threatened to file a civil suit for damages of ₹100 crore.
