Mohali, Punjab : Famous Punjab actress Himanshi Khurana has received a death threat. Gangster Zeeshan Akhtar reportedly demanded a ransom of 10 crore rupees from the actress and threatened her life. The police have immediately initiated action in the case and have heightened security for the actress.
Threatening Emails and Phone Calls:
According to police sources, actress Himanshi Khurana received threatening emails and phone calls. On February 12, around 11:45 PM, an audio file was sent to her email, in which the person threatened to kill her and demanded 10 crore rupees as ransom. On February 13, at around 6:18 PM, another threatening email arrived. That night, the actress received a missed call, a message, and an audio note, all containing threats.
FIR Filed, Accused Identified:
The Mohali police have registered an FIR in this case. The FIR filed at the Sohna police station names gangster Zeeshan Akhtar as the accused. The police have stated that the accused’s number has been put under surveillance, and the investigation is underway.
Actress’s Response:
Actress Himanshi Khurana responded to the incident, stating that she does not know the accused, Zeeshan Akhtar. She also mentioned that, for now, she does not require any special security, but if she needs to go out, she will inform the police.
