Sikar, Rajasthan – Good Governance Day was celebrated in the VC auditorium of the District Collectorate on Wednesday, marking the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. District Collector Mukul Sharma paid tribute to Vajpayee by garlanding his portrait.
On this occasion, the District Collector administered the Good Governance Pledge to officers and employees, vowing to establish the highest standards of good governance in the state, to make governance more transparent, participatory, people-oriented, and accountable, and to remain committed to achieving the goal of improving the quality of life of the citizens of the state.

During the program, officers and employees from all district-level offices listened to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s address regarding the establishment of good governance at the state-level Good Governance Pledge Program held in Jaipur.
Additional District Collector Ratan Kumar Swami, Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad Rajpal Yadav, Assistant Director of the Administrative Reforms Department Indira Sharma, District Education Officer Surendra Singh Shekhawat, and other district-level officers and employees were present at the program.
Collectorate officials and employees took the Good Governance Pledge
In the presence of Additional District Collector Ratan Kumar Swami, officials and employees from various branches of the Collectorate campus also took the Good Governance Pledge by laying a wreath on the portrait of the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the occasion of Good Governance Day.
Good Governance Day celebrated in district-level offices
In the Information and Public Relations Office, Assistant Public Relations Officer Rakesh Kumar Dhaka laid a wreath on the portrait of the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee and administered the Good Governance Pledge to departmental employees. Librarian Rajendra Kumar, Rohitash Kumar, Shalu Swami, Nirmala, Lokesh, Vimal, Jeevan, Mukesh, and other employees took the oath.
On the occasion of Good Governance Day, officials and employees from various district-level offices of the district administration, including the Administrative Reforms Department, District Industries Center, Rajivika, GPF Office, PHED, Public Works Department, Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation Sikar Depot, Ayurveda Department, Cooperative Department, and other departments, also took the Good Governance Pledge.
