Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana 2025–26 : The Rajasthan government has launched a major initiative for students pursuing higher education who face difficulties in meeting both their academic and living expenses due to poor family financial circumstances. To ensure that the increasing burden of rent, food, and other daily necessities does not hinder students’ studies, the government has implemented the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme 2025–26. This scheme will provide financial support to students while studying away from home.

Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana – Application Date
Eligible students can apply online for this scheme from November 17, 2025, to December 31, 2025. The application process will be conducted entirely through the SSO portal.
Main Objective of the Scheme
The primary objective of the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme is to ensure that no student has to leave their education midway due to financial constraints.

The scheme’s objectives include:
- Reducing the burden of rent, food, and other expenses.
- Providing higher education opportunities for socially and economically weaker sections.
- Increasing student financial independence
- Reducing the dropout rate in higher education
Which students will benefit ?
This scheme is primarily for students who:
- Are natives of Rajasthan
- Are pursuing regular UG or PG courses in government colleges
- Are living in rented/PG/private accommodation in another city for studies
- Belong to the SC, ST, OBC, MBC, or EWS category
- Family annual income does not exceed the prescribed limit
- Have passed the previous year’s examination
Note:
Students living in government hostels will not be eligible for this scheme. Furthermore, if the student or their parents own a house in the city of their study, they will also not be eligible.

- SC: 1500 students
- ST: 1500 students
- OBC: 750 students
- MBC: 750 students
- EWS: 500 students

If you are eligible for the scheme, you can apply by following the simple steps below:
- First, log in to the SSO Rajasthan portal (if a new ID is required, register first).
- After logging in, go to the Citizen App → Scholarship / DBT Section.
- Select Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana from the list of available schemes.
- Carefully fill in your personal information, college details, residence details, and bank details in the application form.
- Upload all required documents in the correct format.
- Press the Submit button once the form is complete.
- Keep the application number safe, as it will be used to check the status in the future.
- The assistance amount will be sent directly to the bank accounts of the selected students through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
