ACB Action In Bundi : In a significant action against corruption in Rajasthan’s Bundi district, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught Patwari Vijendra Yadav red-handed while accepting a bribe in the Suwania area of Nainwa Tehsil. The patwari is accused of demanding a bribe of ₹20,000 to proceed with the process of name transfer (mutation) in land records.
According to reports, the victim filed a complaint with the ACB regarding the patwari’s demand for a bribe. After verifying the complaint, the ACB team from Kota laid a trap and on Thursday, caught Patwari Vijendra Yadav red-handed while accepting the ₹20,000 bribe.
The ACB team reached the spot, took the patwari into custody, and is currently interrogating him. Simultaneously, searches are being conducted at his office and other locations linked to him.
This action has caused a stir in the area. Locals stated that the patwari had been harassing people for a long time and was illegally extorting money.
