Peace Committee Meeting Held at Dhoria Police Station Ahead of Muharram

Dhoria (Banka): A peace committee meeting was held on Friday at Dhoria Police Station in view of the upcoming Muharram procession. The meeting was chaired by Station House Officer Amit Kumar and Circle Officer Srinivas Kumar Singh.

CO Srinivas Kumar Singh instructed officials to install barricades and set up CCTV cameras at the bridge on the Jaipur–Kurma road to ensure security. SHO Amit Kumar outlined important guidelines for the organizers to maintain law and order during the procession.

All akhadas (traditional groups) must strictly follow the rules set by the organizing committee. The route of the procession, number of participants, watch towers, volunteer deployment, parking arrangements, drone surveillance, and videography must be properly managed. Playing DJ music will be prohibited.

The meeting was attended by several local leaders and community representatives including Mukhiya Bibi Hazra Khatoon, Mohammad Hashim (Representative), Amrendra Kumar, Rajnish Kumar, Parvez Akhtar, Mohammad Anwar, Ramji Paswan (Panchayat Member), Girish Paswan (Congress Block President), Mohammad Alauddin (MLA Representative), Manoj Yadav (Former Mukhiya), Bhola Sah (Pansus), Dhananjay Modi, and Munilal Paswan (CPI).
