Air India Flight From Mumbai to Delhi Makes Emergency Landing in Jaipur After Failed Landings

An Air India flight AI-2687 traveling from Mumbai to Delhi was forced to make an emergency landing at Jaipur Airport on Monday night after failing to land five times at Delhi Airport.

The flight departed from Mumbai at 4:00 PM, scheduled to arrive in Delhi by 6:30 PM. However, due to repeated failed landing attempts, the flight only reached Delhi airspace around 7:30 PM. Despite multiple landing trials by the pilot, safe landing couldn’t be achieved, reportedly due to weather or runway visibility issues.

Diverted to Jaipur by ATC

After about 45 minutes of unsuccessful landing attempts, the Air Traffic Control (ATC) diverted the aircraft to Jaipur Airport, where it landed safely at 8:32 PM.

Passengers Still Onboard, Flight Parked

The flight is currently parked at the apron of Jaipur Airport, and all passengers are still onboard. Air India officials indicate that the flight may resume its journey to Delhi later tonight, depending on operational clearance.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and airport authorities are closely monitoring the situation.
